Mein Name ist Robert Reiz. Ich habe in Mannheim / Deutschland 5 Jahre Informatik studiert und meinen Abschluss gemacht. Anfang 2008 habe ich die PLOIN GmbH gegründet und mit der Entwicklung des Internetportals www.ploin.de angefangen.  www.ploin.de is ein Portal für Zeiterfassung, Task-Management, Projekt-Management und Networking. Im September 2010 habe ich die PLOIN GmbH an die Reutax AG verkauft. Ich bleibe weiterhin Geschäftsführer bei PLOIN und bin bei der Reutax fest angestellt. Die Reutax will PLOIN als Plattform nutzen für eine Eigenentwicklung in den USA. Ich bin letztes Jahr in Oktober in die USA umgezogen und leite hier die Entwicklungsabteilung in San Francisco, als Chief Architekt. Da mich mehrere meiner Freunde gebeten haben, meine Auswanderung und meinen Neustart in den USA in einem Blog zu dokumentieren, habe ich diesen Blog angefangen.

My name is Robert Reiz. I studied 5 years Computer Science in Mannheim / Germany and made my degree. 2008 I founded the company “PLOIN GmbH” and started with the development of http://www.ploin.de. This is internet solution for time tracking, task management, project management and networking. In September 2010 I sold the company to the Reutax AG. I am still the Managing Director of PLOIN and an employee of Reutax. Reutax want to use the PLOIN solution as a platform for a similar solution in the USA. I moved last year to the USA and leading the portal development here in San Francisco, as Chief Architect. Many of my friends asked me to start a blog and to describe my new life in the USA. That’s the reason I started this blog.
